Being a close family ourselves, we can only begin to imagine how distressing it must be, having suffered a bereavement to then be faced with making all the house clearance arrangements.
Getting the house cleared however, may be a prerequisite to your Estate Agent placing it on the market, or the new occupants moving in. We can help by clearing the property of its entire contents including all items from the drawers and cupboards, all larger pieces of furniture and appliances, and in general we will get the property looking presentable in rediness for sale or transfer. We can also help with the clearance of the garden which may have become an added burden to your loved one.
If you need to make house clearance arrangements following a bereavement, but live some distance from the house, we can arrange to collect the house keys from the estate agent dealing with the sale, both at the time of providing you with a quote, and again when we carry out the work.
Alternatively if you wish to, and are able to be present whilst we clear the house, we very much like to talk to you about the person we are clearing the house after, and we always have time to listen. We are very sympathetic when our customers find the process of the house clearance upsetting. You will be treated with kindness and compassion though, and your loved ones effects will be removed from the house in a respectful and discreet way.
We do hope that it offers some comforrt to you that we pass a great deal of things that we collect over the course of our work onto charities and worthwhile organisations, including our own family-run animal sanctuary (Holbrook Animal Rescue). Clothes, books, ornaments, pictures, even duvets and bedding are all gratefully received by a number of charities and sanctuaries that we are in contact with. If however, you have a specific charity that you would like your loved ones effects to be donated to, please inform us, and we will be happy to deliver them directly.
They may of course be items in the house that hold great sentimental value to you or other members of your family, that you would like to have delivered to your personal address. My brother-in-law manages the Removal side of the business and would be more than pleased to assist with delivering such items to you. He is fully licensed and insured to do this.
If you consider there to be items of value within the property that needs clearing, we are happy to advise you, purchase them from you, or offset the value of them against the cost of any remaining clearance work to be carried out.

‘Without exception, AAA House Clearance have always looked after my clients with care and professionalism’. Keith Hutchinson, formerly, senior negotiator at Mallards, Horsham.
I was delighted to find your house clearance service. Having made my Fathers’ funeral arrangements, it was incredibly emotional for me to then organise the clearance of his house. I expected it to be an insesnsitive affair with his belongings carelessly thrown onto a van, but I was so pleasantly surprised by the careful and caring way in which his belongings were handled. I also appreciated the time you took to listen whilst I reminisced about growing up in the house, and the happy memories I recalled of being there with my family. Thank you so much for your help, and for your kindness throughout. Mary Goatcher, Epsom, Surrey.
